HEPHA GmbH was founded in May 2021 in Germany and one of the factories is in Maisach (near Munich). We design, develop and assemble e-bikes, focussing for the moment on EU markets.
The name "HEPHA" is an abbreviation of "HEPHAISTOS", the name of the Greek god of fire and crafts. HEPHA shares a common goal with him: to improve life through technology and art. Because unlike the other Olympian gods, who used their divine power purely, Hephaestus used both technology and art to take his own destiny into his own hands.
The combination of high-tech and design is also the key for HEPHA to inspire a growing community with contemporary mobility products. The development and the entire design process takes place in Germany. Final assembly takes place at various production sites worldwide, one of which is in the new plant in Maisach near Munich.

Your Responsibilities
• End-to-end responsibility for our e-bike product lines, from defining product requirements through to market launch
• Responsibility for creating and refining our bills of materials (BOMs), including final approval
• Selection, development, and management of suppliers, from initial evaluation through sample validation to production approval
• Ensuring product data quality and responsibility for compliance and documentation issues
• Support for selected accessory or add-on projects
Your Profile
• Experience in product management in the bicycle industry
• Experience with bills of materials (BOMs), suppliers, and product development, ideally in an international setting
• Ability to make decisions independently and take responsibility
• Experience dealing with technical requirements and compliance issues
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to technical matters
• Very good German and English language skills
Scope of the Role
• Clear ownership of our e-bike product lines
• Direct influence on costs, quality, and product decisions
• Close collaboration with Product Strategy, R&D, Purchasing, and related departments (e.g., Service and Sales)

Your Responsibilities
- Day-to-day accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting)
- Preparation of advance VAT returns,
including handling of VAT group reporting - Preparation and reconciliation of annual financial statements within the corporate group
- Maintenance and valuation of the fixed asset register
- Monitoring of tax deadlines and initiation of payments
- Point of contact for tax advisors and tax auditors
- Collaboration with global functional departments to ensure group-wide
tax and financial standards
Your Profile
- A commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further training as a certified
bookkeeper or accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting - Professional experience in an auditing or tax consulting firm is a plus
- A systematic and independent work style, high level of commitment, and initiative

Your Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimize performance campaigns (D2C & B2B) across Paid Social (Instagram, Meta, YouTube), Paid Search/Shopping (Google/Microsoft), and additional channels.
- Support our dealers in winning more local customers by developing and managing localized performance marketing campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, geo-targeting, event promotion).
- Ensure that our promotions, events, and trade fair appearances (by us or our dealers) are digitally visible – converting online interest into real-life visits to stores or stands.
- Generate more qualified leads through our website.
- Tracking & attribution (GA4, Tag Manager) are a natural part of your work.
- Work closely with Brand, E-Com, CRM, and Content teams to develop impactful ideas and creatives.
- Monitor market trends, analyze competition, and bring fresh impulses to the team.
Your Profile
- 3–4 years of professional experience in performance marketing – both D2C and B2B.
- Solid expertise in Paid Social & Paid Search/Shopping, including testing & conversion optimization.
- Ideally, experience with localized performance marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in GA4, GTM, and tracking setups.
- Strong analytical mindset, hands-on, well-organized – and you enjoy fast iterations.
- Excellent German and good English skills.
- Bonus: Experience in the bike or sporting goods industry.
